Monitoring When Responsible Reliance May Change

If the facts may change after your initial decision, monitoring can keep the important evidence current without reopening the entire matter each time.

Research is the process. Responsible reliance is the product.

Purpose

Focused and enhanced monitoring can cover litigation, regulation, companies, ownership, sanctions, reputation, public statements, competitor activity and evidence developments.

Monitoring limits

Frequency and escalation are agreed in advance.

Monitoring frequency, response thresholds and reporting intervals are defined in writing. Unless expressly agreed, monitoring is periodic and is not continuous, real-time or staffed twenty-four hours a day.

Urgent review remains subject to the written scope, current capacity and availability.

Periodic human monitoring

Monitoring consists of scheduled searches, source review, materiality assessment and human-prepared updates.

At the agreed frequency, Aperture performs research rounds, filters irrelevant developments, checks material changes and prepares a reviewed update. It is not continuous automated surveillance unless a separate technical service is expressly agreed.

A proposition can change

VERIFY ONCE OR VERIFY + MONITOR.

VERIFY ONCE

Use a bounded evidence review where the decision needs a stable finding at a defined point in time.

VERIFY + MONITOR

Where the proposition can materially change after the original finding, monitoring can be separately scoped as a continuation with defined sources, cadence and reporting thresholds.
