Specialist enquiries
Bring the decision. We assess the evidence and expertise it needs.
Aperture applies a shared research discipline in different professional environments. Specialist work depends on the actual question, jurisdiction, sources and competent review; the name of a field is not a promise of unrestricted availability.
Existing transaction work
Mergers and acquisitions remain an established enquiry route.
Acquisition research can examine target identity, ownership, history, material public representations and evidence dependencies. The scope complements the transaction team and its qualified advisers.

Before a specialist assignment is offered
The question must justify the work.
We consider what your existing staff, AI tools, official registers and professional data services already provide. The remaining problem must be material enough to benefit from independent original-source verification.
Source rights, privacy, conflicts, sanctions, jurisdiction and any regulated competence must be checked. A defined deliverable, appropriate reviewer, realistic source costs and written commercial terms are required. Monitoring is separately agreed only when changes would add continuing value.
Responsible scope
The right expertise remains part of the answer.
Aperture provides independent factual research and evidence assurance. The actual scope depends on the question, lawful source access, confidentiality, conflicts, jurisdiction and available competence. A matter may be accepted, narrowed, deferred or declined.
Reserved legal, medical, engineering, accounting, investment and other regulated decisions remain with appropriately qualified professionals. Research does not itself create a licence, certification, investigative power or regulatory clearance.

Discuss a specific enquiry
Name the decision and the missing evidence.
You can begin with a few sentences: the decision you face, the fact you need to establish, the relevant person or organisation, and any date that matters. Tell us what evidence you already have. You do not need to choose a product or write an investigation plan.
We assess whether independent factual work would help. Where it would, we agree the question, lawful sources, deliverable, limitations, timing and fee in writing before an accepted assignment begins.
