Define the question
Agree the factual issue, intended use and boundaries before drawing conclusions.
Public methodology
Send the material. A human reviews fit and scope. Aperture defines the decision question, tests the evidence and provides a written finding. The conclusion remains bounded by the available evidence, lawful access, agreed scope, time and stated limitations.
The reliance test
What evidence assurance means
Agree the factual issue, intended use and boundaries before drawing conclusions.
Review relevant, lawful evidence and distinguish established material from claims, interpretation and unresolved uncertainty.
State what is supported, what is not established, what remains uncertain and whether specialist review is still required.
Protected process
Internal decision rules, control logic, scoring, registers, prompts, technical configurations, testing sequences, quality-control mechanisms and assignment-specific execution methods are confidential. Public material describes the professional principles and client-facing stages only.
The public promise is simple: no conclusion should be presented more strongly than the available evidence and authorised scope permit.
Human control
Technology may support discovery, organisation, comparison and analysis. People remain responsible for scope, materiality, evidence evaluation, professional boundaries and final approval.
Client outcome
Aperture helps turn a defined factual uncertainty into a clear written record of the finding, material limitations, unresolved uncertainty and any next step that requires broader diligence or a qualified specialist.
Evidence method
Summaries, search results and AI outputs may help locate information. Material findings are tested against the underlying source wherever reasonably available.
Aperture does not hide material conflicts to produce a cleaner answer. Where sources conflict, we compare provenance, chronology and independent confirmation and retain the gap if it cannot responsibly be resolved.
We distinguish independent corroboration from repeated reporting that ultimately traces back to one originating assertion.
IDENTIFY → COMPARE → TRACE PROVENANCE → CHECK CHRONOLOGY → SEEK INDEPENDENT CONFIRMATION → RETAIN THE GAP IF UNRESOLVED
Material findings may also state conditions on reliance, matters still requiring resolution and what could change the finding.
