WHEN YOU SHOULD NOT HIRE APERTURE

Independent research is useful only when the evidence problem justifies it.

Aperture Research Works does not need to sell every visitor something. A matter should be proportionate to the decision, the evidence burden and the professional boundary.

The answer is a simple fact you can verify directly

If an authoritative source clearly answers the question and there is no meaningful contradiction, identity issue or reliance problem, a deeper research engagement may add little value.

You need regulated professional advice

If the real task is legal advice, an investment recommendation, tax advice, audit opinion, formal valuation, medical advice, engineering certification or another reserved professional conclusion, the appropriate regulated professional should perform that function.

The requested method would be unlawful or outside scope

Aperture does not offer hacking, unlawful surveillance, impersonation, unauthorised access or another prohibited acquisition method merely because information would be useful.

The evidence cannot support the requested certainty

If available evidence is too weak for the conclusion a client wants, Aperture may report the limitation, narrow the question or decline to present unsupported certainty.

The commercial burden is disproportionate

If the question is too small or the likely decision value does not justify the evidence work, a direct source check or smaller research step may be more sensible.

You want a predetermined conclusion

Aperture is not the right route where the purpose is to manufacture support for a conclusion regardless of what the evidence shows.

WHEN A SMALLER STEP IS ENOUGH

A narrow question can remain narrow.

If the evidence issue is real but bounded, the correct route may be a short research answer, an Executive Research Desk request or another limited first engagement rather than a full investigation.
