Is there a technical, legal, financial, scientific or other specialist issue that still needs to be identified or escalated?

Need for defensibility

Would you want to show another decision-maker exactly why the conclusion was reasonable if it were challenged later?

What the result means

Lower signal: a separate verification assignment may not be proportionate yet, although a material unresolved issue can still justify review.

Moderate signal: there are enough reliance concerns to consider defining the factual question more carefully before commitment.

Strong signal: independent evidence review may be proportionate before the decision is relied upon or passed into broader diligence.

Very strong signal: several public risk indicators are present. A defined review or specialist escalation may be worth considering before reliance.

If a live decision still turns on one unresolved proposition, start with that proposition rather than the score. Aperture will return a short written scope defining the verification boundary, evidence required and proposed output.
