Executive Research Desk

A dependable place to bring recurring evidence questions.

When important questions keep arriving, you may need controlled external research capacity rather than a separate large project every time. The desk helps define, prioritise and answer those questions under an agreed scope.

What you can bring

Start with what is on your desk.

A company or counterparty to identify; a statement to corroborate; a report that needs independent challenge; a market, project or regulatory change to examine; a chronology that does not reconcile; or a source whose authority is unclear.

We first determine the decision, remaining evidence gap and useful output. A simple question can stay simple. More consequential or uncertain matters may require deeper original-source work or specialist review.

How a desk arrangement works

Capacity with visible boundaries.

Agree the recurring need

Define the types of question, authorised requesters, capacity, priority, review, output and written handoff. Agree what needs a separate quote.

Authorise meaningful work

Clarify the question and any charge or allocation before material work starts. Account funding, where used, follows the written commercial terms.

Keep useful context

Retain authorised prior context and sources so that a next request can build on the record. Recheck facts that may have become stale.

What the desk does not promise

Clear expectations make repeat work easier.

A desk arrangement is not unlimited research, a licence for regulated advice, automatic acceptance of every matter or unrestricted access to private databases. Urgent and unusually complex assignments depend on actual availability, lawful sources and agreed review.

Timings, capacity, charges, account treatment, renewal and exit conditions belong in the written agreement. The desk is governed by people; AI can assist the work without becoming the authority for its findings.

Consider a desk

Explain the questions that recur.

You can begin with a few sentences: the decision you face, the fact you need to establish, the relevant person or organisation, and any date that matters. Tell us what evidence you already have. You do not need to choose a product or write an investigation plan.

We assess whether independent factual work would help. Where it would, we agree the question, lawful sources, deliverable, limitations, timing and fee in writing before an accepted assignment begins.
