A meaningful opportunity
A supplier announcement, new project or changing market can be a lead. A useful intelligence brief tests the organisation, timing, decision owner, relevance, source support and what is still unknown. It does not infer a budget, willingness to buy or permission for contact from a public statement.
For example, a market-entry enquiry may need a map of relevant distributors and independently supported qualification criteria before any commercial approach. That is different from an untested directory of email addresses.
Why use independent work?
A search engine, AI tool, professional database or internal team may already provide the answer you need. Aperture should add value where a material question remains: identities are confused, original records conflict, an important chronology is incomplete, source independence is unclear, or a changing fact needs to be checked.
We look for contrary evidence as well as support. An assertion does not become established because it is repeated often, and a missing search result does not automatically prove that something never happened.
The result should help you understand what is established, supported, asserted, inferred, contradicted or unresolved, with the source and date needed to inspect it.
