Engagement, evidence and authority

Can a receiver or assignee commission this research?

Potentially, if the individual has authority under the appointment, relevant law, estate budget and any court or stakeholder approval requirements. We check that before accepting.

Does Aperture determine asset ownership or legal title?

No. We investigate and reconcile documentary and public-source facts. Counsel and other licensed professionals decide the legal consequences.

Are you a law firm or private investigator?

No. We provide defined independent factual research only within lawful source and jurisdictional boundaries.

Do you need confidential estate records?

Not by default. We first identify what public and lawfully accessible sources establish. Where private documents are decisive, we ask for named items under a separate authorisation and data-handling agreement.

Can the site accept and charge for an engagement immediately?

No. A written proposal and authorisation review are required before an engagement starts, and commencement/payment conditions are set in the accepted scope.

How much does a review cost?

The current Aperture Research Works pricing guide provides published starting categories. A fixed fee for a particular Evidence Desk product follows a specific human-reviewed scope; no provisional product price is represented as approved.

Can a law firm commission behind the scenes?

Subject to confidentiality, attribution, authority and professional responsibility being established in the written engagement.

What counts as a confirmed finding?

A proposition supported by an adequate authoritative source and any necessary independent cross-checks. Other outcomes are explicitly described as limited, contradicted, unresolved or not established.

Can you monitor an ongoing matter?

Yes, on a defined source list, subject list, cadence, materiality threshold and fee. Not an unlimited or real-time monitoring promise.

Do you send emails or call parties as part of research?

Not without separate explicit authorisation and a lawful, approved external-contact plan. Ordinary engagements are written-first and public-source-first.

Can we see a sample PDF?

Eight research briefs are being prepared internally. Downloadable PDFs will only appear after their research, sample content and visual release are individually approved.

Is an enquiry confidential?

Do not send privileged, personal or sensitive details in an initial email draft. We can agree secure handling and any confidentiality terms before private information is supplied.
